The Rota Admirals Association Directory is Now Available!!!
Go Admirals! I know many of you have been asking about obtaining a directory of all of our DGF alumni and current students. Our webmaster, John Overall, has uploaded a directory database to the website, but we need your help to populate it.
Due to the high usage of our old database for spamming purposes, you will be unable to download to entire directory. However you can click on the person's name to obtain their email and address information. You can also create a "contact list" of just people you're interested in keeping up with. Also, this method allows you to update your information yourself, so that your profile stays current.
Here's how to access the directory:
1. Go to our website www.rotaadmirals.com
2. Click on the tab that says "Directory"
3. Click on the tab that says "Become a Member"
4. Fill in the requested blanks and click "Sign Up"
5. Your password and further information will be forwarded to your email address. Subject of the email will be "Welcome to the Rota Admirals Alumni Network!"
6. Once you get your password, go back to the website, click the "Directory" Tab and type in your email and password.
7. You're good to go.
From there, you can go to the "My Profile" Tab and input additional information about yourself. You can also go to the "Change Password" tab and punch in a new password if you find the one you received in your email hard to remember.
A few people have already added their names. We need everyone's participation to make the directory extremely useful. The whole process takes no more than 10 minutes. Make sure you come back and check the Directory regularly. I guarantee you that it will change almost daily.
We've worked out most of the kinks in the system. However, should you find something that doesn't work or needs revamping, send an email to John Overall.
Finally, while you're fishing around the website, make sure you go to the home page and click the "Forums" tab. Here you'll find a discussion board for the Rota's Most Wanted inputs, upcoming reunions, and General Discussions.
The website is what you make it, so visit regularly!
